Built By Experience.
Driven By Purpose.

The Contractor Readiness Group (CRG) was founded with one purpose: to prepare construction businesses for long-term success by helping them become compliant, capable, and ready to work with today's leading General Contractors.

Through education, business development, strategic partnerships, and industry resources, we're building a stronger workforce—one contractor at a time.

OUR STORY

The Gap We Couldn't Ignore

The Contractor Readiness Group

Every day, talented subcontractors miss out on valuable commercial opportunities—not because they lack skill, but because they aren't fully prepared for the operational, compliance, and business expectations required on today's projects.

At the same time, General Contractors face the ongoing challenge of finding dependable subcontractors who are organized, qualified, and ready to perform.

The Contractor Readiness Group was created to bridge that gap.

CRG helps subcontractors strengthen the business side of construction by providing the knowledge, systems, and guidance needed to compete with confidence. In doing so, we also help General Contractors build stronger project teams and more reliable workforce pipelines.

Our goal isn't simply to train contractors—it's to help create long-term opportunities that strengthen businesses, projects, and the construction industry as a whole.

Founder & CEO

CRG was created from real experience, persistence, and the challenges that come with trying to build your way into the general contractor world without a clear roadmap. Like many subcontractors, CRG’s founder had to learn through uncertainty, trial and error, missed opportunities, hard lessons, and the frustration of not always knowing what general contractors expected behind the scenes. There were no mentors handing over the process, no simple guide explaining the documents, conversations, expectations, or professional standards needed to be taken seriously. The path required patience, resilience, and years of learning how to communicate, prepare, and earn trust in an industry where skill alone is often not enough. CRG was built so other subcontractors would not have to feel lost, overlooked, or forced to figure everything out alone. Through training, templates, onboarding guidance, and readiness support, CRG gives subcontractors the structure, language, and confidence that can turn struggle into preparation, while giving general contractors a clearer path to connect with better-organized, better-prepared businesses.
